María Belén Paoletta

Belén specializes in Public International Law and International Relations. She provides regulatory and
policy advice and has experience in national and international capital markets, financial law, economic
regulation and arbitration. She also delivers legal analysis of aspects related to trade policy and trade
agreements.


She is currently an assistant professor on Public International Law and former assistant professor of
Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure at the University of Buenos Aires.


Belén is recipient of numerous academic excellence prizes from several institutions, having been
awarded a distinction for Academic Excellence by the Bar Association of the Autonomous City of Buenos
Aires, an academic Recognition to Distinguished Students delivered by the Rectorate of the University of
Buenos Aires and a Merit Award granted by Santander Río Bank, amongst others.


Before joining Quipu, she worked as legal advisor at a distinguished law firm, covering issues relating to
capital markets, debt restructuring and arbitration within the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
realm.


Belén holds a Bilingual Bachelor’s in Economics, a Law Degree summa cum laude, and is currently
pursuing a Master’s Degree.
